We got Rooster from Jamie Burns in Whitesboro, Texas at 8 weeks of age. From day one, he was Kelsey's boy. The sweetest soul, so precious with his human boys and his own puppies...there was no better dog than him.
On stock and working, Rooster was fast and formidable. He did not back down, even when a 300 pound ram wrecked him square in the head. Rooster got right back up and went after him. Roo had the best stop of any dog I have ever seen. Cameron would be training him on the sheep and would just say "Ho!" and Rooster would skid to a stop on his belly. He listened, was intent on the stock and his drive was awesome.
